We got a Wish.....

Actually Max got a Wish, from The Make-a-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee. I am so happy for him!! We had to wait until he was 2 1/2 yrs old to request a "Wish". So now that he is "two-half" thats what he says when you ask him how old he is. LOL He is so stinking cute! I just love him to death!! So anyway- We got a letter from the MAW Foundation last Tuesday, comfirming his approval for a Wish, and then on Wednesday we got a call from the MAW Foundation, wanting to talk to us and get aquainted with the parents, and then they will be calling soon to set up a meeting and get this Special Wish to Max!! We are thinking Disneyworld!! OR Moline, Ill. Where the John Deere Tractors are made! Who wants to go to Illinois??? I don't. I want to go to Florida to Disneyworld and do fun things there.... Max has said he wants to go to Disney... to see Mick's Home, (Mickey Mouse's House). So we will see, I know he wil have fun wherever we go. So I will let yall know what we get to do, as soon as I know more about it and meet with them.

Yeah its Monday!!

I have no idea why I am blogging, I have nothing interesting to say, except.... I am starting to feel better with my Blood Sugar under control and my Thyroid Meds are helping, and I'm starting to get over Sinus issues!! So ohh yeah.... Max is working on Potty Training... He tells us when he has to go "pee/poop". It's so cute, and he WILL tell us wheather its just a little poop or a little pee, he will tell us when he has to go to the bathroom. So he is getting the hang of it! And we did tell him, IF he can tell us ALL this week when he has to go "pee/poop" on the BIG toilet.... then his daddy told him he would take Max to the John Deere Store to go get a Tractor that Max picked out. So we will see what happends this week.

Other than that, Nothing much is happening here. But then again its just Monday Morning at 10:31am and I'm sure more interesting things will come.......

MRI Results!!!

Great News Everyone!!! Max is clear of Cancer.......... and the "spot" is just a spot. Here is his MRI Results as they gave them to me. I have no idea what any of this means... I am medically inclinded!!

INDICATIONS: OFF THERAPY RETINOBLASTOMA DZ EVAL
Comparison: 11/12/09.
Technique: Multiplanar, Multisequence MRI of the brain was performed including post contrast evaluation after the administration of 4ml of Magnevist. Anesthesia provided sedation.
FINDINGS:
No restricted diffusion is seen. The patient has undergone a prior left enucleation. The prosthesis is normally positioned. No abnormal enhancement is noted within the optic chiasm or optic tracks to suggest recurrence.
There is no evidence of intracranial injury. Gray and white matter demonstrate normal signal characteristics. The sellar, suprasellar and pineal regions appear normal. There is no abnormal enhancement. The dural sinuses are intact. Flow voids appear normal. The paranasal sinuses are clear.
A rim enhancing, T2 hyperintensity adjacent to the right sphenoid is stable from the prior exam. Again, this likely represents an opacified air cell in connection with the sphenoid.
IMPRESSION:
1. Stable postoperative changes after left enucleation without evidence of recurrence.
2. T2 hyperintense lesion within the right sphenoid, likely representing mucus within an aerated sphenoid wing. This is unchanged from the most recent examination.
Dr. Creasy reviewed the images and provided the interpretation.

But those SWEET words... Max has NO indication of Cancer anywhere! Are the best words ever!! We were worried about the "spot" but now that we know it is just a spot its ok, and it a BIG sigh a relief!! Now the only thing I worry about it makin something for Supper!! Hahaha

Potty Training is going ok, if we make it there on time!! Sometimes we don't, sometimes we do! Thats just the way it goes!! Have a Happy Day!! .)

Snow BABY!!!

Yeah, so we got some Snow, about 6 inches of SNOW!! WHITE FLUFFY SNOW..... for a few moments I thought I was back in Utah!! Minus the Mountains and stuff! But the BIG Snow came on Friday after lunchtime. And it SNOWED all day long and all night long. I could NOT believe it that it SNOWED 6 inches!! LOL

But on Saturday, it was still Snowing. And Melissa and Chris and Zack and Kait and Troy and Tammy wanted to come out to our house and play in the SNOW on Sunday morning. They got here about 10:45am. Off we went to slide down Lamont Road!!! LOL OMG I have never had so much fun with Max. He was NOT scared at all. He rode up Lamont Road with Uncle Troy and then went down the Lamont Road with him, then Max went down Lamont Rd with Kait, Then he went with me and we crashed... we ran into a Snow Bank! It was so fun.... we laughed and laughed, and we got SNOW in our faces. We had such a blast!! Then we went in the house and had Baked Spaghetti and Beef Soup, Corn Bread.... YUMMY!!! Then everyone left for the night. And again, Robertson County Schools was closed. Because of the SNOW!!!

So then Monday came and went, and Today is Ground Hog day... and he seen his Shadow.... 6 more weeks of Winter!!! ohh poohy!!!

Snow in Tennessee..... Ummm YES!!!

Ok, so yeah, it does Snow in Tennessee.... it all started out with a Winter Storm Warning yesterday and they said it was suppost to start last night, Nope we didn't wake up to 10 inches on Snow like they said we would. We got it ALL today after lunchtime. It started out flurrys and then came a bunch of snow, and it hasn't stopped yet! I am so excited that it has snowed. They have been talking about it Snowing for days now.

Max is excited for Snow too. He runs to the front door and then the back door and says, "nooo nooo" for SNOW!! He's such a cute little dude. I loves him so much. So anyway.... ALL of Tennessee has shut down due to the Winter Storm Warning, there was No School today, People were getting off work early, My husband didn't go to work this morning. Max had a appointment with his Speech/School Teacher this morning and I called her to see if she was still goin to have it and she said Yes, everyone was telling me that they would cancel it. But they didn't, I'm glad it didn't start Snowing until after we got home from his School.

Right now, it is still Snowing like a Mother out there!! Yayyy!!!

Umm, Yeah - No!!

Umm, Yeah - No! That is Max's FAVORITE words to say right now, I don't know why. LOL very funny, I guess its "kinda - sorta" for him! He is slowly talking more and more, he is funny. He went to the Audiologist today and had his hearing checked and he is where he should be for those who have had Chemo damage their hearing. So he is right on track, and we don't have to go back for a year!! Yayyy!!!

So now all we have to worry about his appointment at the PATCH Clinic, on the Feb 9, 2010 and his next MRI on Feb 12, 2010. Hopefully they will find out what that "spot" is above his right eye, I am hoping and Praying its just what they said it it... "mucus"!! So hope annd pray with us also.

So thats about what all is goin on here - except we are suppost to get a BIG Snow Storm this weekend. We will see!! If there is a "mention" of Snow.... All of Tennessee Shuts down, mainly because they don't have the trucks and plows and stuff to keep the roads clean! hahaha

OFF THE BOTTLE!!!

Ok So... Tonight is # 3 Night WITHOUT the Bottle for Max-a-moo.... I so didn't want to do this, not this soon. My little Boy is growinng up too fast! But he is doing good without asking for it. He just tells me that "Ho" has his bottles.... "Ho" is Ho-Ho, aka Santa Claus. LOL At Christmas we told Max that Santa had to take his Bottles and give them to other little boys and girls who didn't have bottles. SO thats where he thinks his bottles have gone!

SO I guess, thats that! He just has a Sippy Cup with Milk as he is going to bed! Ohh Joy! Now we just have to work on Potty Training!! That I think will be easy, since he is already trying to tell us that he has to go "PEE" and "POOP"!!! And he actually goes "Pee and Poop" on the big toilet!

Anyway, things are going good with Max's Therapy's, His Alleregy Test came back ALL NEGATIVE!! Max is NOT Allergic to anything!! So that is a BIG Relief on me, he can now eat EGGS and Wheat, and Dairy, and Peanuts! And Max is NOT Allergic to Dust Mites, Cats or Dogs. SO he can run and play with the Dogs in the house, as he already has, and Max just LOVES his puppy J.D. Max runs around saying, "Chase, Chase" meaning he wants J.D. to "Chase" him around and she usually does!! Max just giggles and giggles when she "Chases".
