Ohh it will be ok....

Well, our New Years was great! We were in bed by 10:30pm, I stayed up until 2010. I did attempt to roll over and give my Hubby a Kiss, and he snorted and rolled over. He was alseep by 11:00pm. Happy New Year to me!! So I kissed Max's forehead instead!! LOL
Well, On Saturday we went to the Hockey Game in Nashville... All 15 of us! It was so fun! I love my SMASHVILLE Predators!!
So then on Sunday, Max had a cough and then he ran a fever of 101.2 I gave him Tylenol and fluids, and kept him pretty comfortable. As evening came, he was ok. But, he was breathing fast and his breathing was contracting with every breath he took, and he just didn't look right, so we were still concerned about his fever, so we called Vanderbilt Childrens Hosptial and they said he would be fine, that we may want him to see his Pedatrician in the morning. Max went to bed at like 8:00pm, He still had the cough, and he got coughing bad and woke up. So, he was still HOT and so we gave him some Tylenol and gave him a bottle (YES!! I know I'm a BAD BAD BAD Mommy!!!) he still has a bottle.
But he was in him Nana's arms and she was rocking him, and he threw up all over her. So I just said.... "We are goin to Vanderbilt now...." My mother-in-law kept telling me he was fine and no need to go to the Hospital because it was Midnight when we were getting ready to go, But I had my Mother's Instinct. And we went to Nashville, we got to Vanderbilt, and got checked in. And then Max got triaged and checked into a room, we spent the night in the ER with him. The Doctors examined Max, he knows how to do it, he sticks out him tounge for them to look in his mouth, he turns his head so they can look in his ears, he lifts up his shirt so they can listen to his chest and lungs and heart, and he likes the doctors. Finally, Max was diagnosed with Broncalspams. Kinda like Asthma, but he is still too young to have Asthma. He required a breathing treatment. And that did the trick, it broke up what ever he had in his chest that was making him "rattle" and cough so much.
So we were sent home with a Asthma Inhaler and a Chamber to use as needed when he coughs and wheezes, and Steriods... the Steriods make him sick. But we only have to give him them once a day for 4 days. He seems better now, and only has a random cough. We had a follow up Doctor Appointment on Tuesday, which it checked out GOOD!!
So now our next Appointment is for the Allergy Specialist on Jan 12. Wish us LUCK!!
